       ■ NEW  On April 3rd, 2009, I will read along with two other writers at the Dire Literary Series in Cambridge, MA.
       Open mic at 8, featureds at 9:15.

       ■ NEW  On Friday, February 13th, 2009, I'll be one of four featured readers at KGB Bar. The reading, which kicks off at 7 p.m., is
       co-sponsored by the litmags Mad Hatters' Review and Harp and Altar, and includes friend and one-man literary juggernaut Josh Cohen.

       ■ On Thursday, December 4th, 2008 I will read, along with other members of the Seacoast Writers Circle, at Primal Tongue.
      The reading, sponsored by Osiail Press, will be at Adelle's Coffehouse in Dover, NH. Featureds at 7, open mic at 8. 

      

       ■ On Sunday, August 26th, 2007 at 4 p.m. I read from the novel at Tsunami Books in Eugene, the Platonic idea of a cool bookstore.

       ■ On May 14th, 2007 I read from the novel in the Four Stories series at the Enormous Room in Cambridge.

    ■ My talk, entitled "The Cart Before the Horse: Jonathan Franzen's Neurological Sleights of Hand," was presented at the conference
